Nice write up mister, growing isn't an option I believe. It's a necessary evil in everyone's back pocket. Either burn the butt by being extreme discomfort that we wish to run away from, or let it simply warm your butt, and we realise it is requires addressing and pull it out before it burns the butt out in wallet shape

I actually love this comparison, haha. No one wants a burned wallet shape in their butt!

One thing that helps me get more comfortable with discomfort is putting myself through a series of discomfort Squid Games, where I progressively do things further and further out of my comfort zone until I either die or win a million dollars. Since I don’t inhabit a coffin nor own a 7-figure bank account, I guess the game’s not over yet.

Who's to say THIS isn't part of the game...

Oh, I can say. It's not. This isn't part of the game.

Also, you're only playing for a million dollars? You've squid-ed yourself out of greater riches. You're worth more than that.

Well, if a difficult life is motivating, then I must be super motivated! Life is never easy. Oh. And poo. I’m a cancer too. Although I don’t really follow all that stuff, I know by my birthdate what they say I am.

I'm with you. I don't subscribe to my fate existing in the hands of my birth month.

I think I experience those uncomfortable changes without even KNOWING they're happening. They just happen and I get through them. That tells me that I can get through anything, that I can adapt and grow.

(Though I CAN tell you for sure that cats will NEVER adapt to baths!)

You've got a great outlook on this! None of us will avoid these challenges, so the ability to look backwards and see a record of successful forward progress is powerful :)

Is this how your nurse fetish started? I had the cutest Doctor give me a rectal exam in my early 20s. Didn’t give me a…. Oh well that explains a lot 😂
