I, SO, appreciated your article today. Particularly since I was just diagnosed with breast cancer(family heredity- it was bound to happen). There are still a few more tests to pinpoint an “illumination” of an area~ what can I say, I’m a bright spot. Bottom line, current outlook is favorable due to an early detection and low numbers- but that pesky illumination is questionable. Your points listed are not only promising for any illness that veils us, yet also for general kindness to ourselves and others. 🫶🏼
I'm sorry to hear of the challenging time you're facing, Cindy! It sounds like there are plenty of bright spots, as you said, not that it lessens the battle going on between your ears. Here's to lasting health and happiness for us all - so go out there and show cancer who's boss like the badass you are!!!
For me, joy is cold weather (last picture would be bliss for me!), doing work I enjoy, seeing the ocean, being exactly who I am, loving a good laugh. . .and blowing out 55 candles on my birthday cake (hoping for one!) later this week. :)
One more thing: I'll have to disagree with you on books. Books are invaluable tools; having read them since childhood, I've learned A LOT (and there's something to be said for loving the smell of the pages, as well as possessing a very good memory!) But I've also learned through this school called life. So you could say that I have a multi-pronged approach to learning--learn through more than one avenue. And THAT is best!
We're cut from different cloth then because I do NOT do well in the cold, haha. I didn't see snow until my late 20's, and it's never really been something I've got used to!
That's okay, Alex. Temperatures like the ones in the Midwest, Central, and Northeastern parts of the U.S. would be something I'd have to get used to. I like the cold, but I don't think I'd like it THAT cold!
Absolutely hilarious, the ex’s email poetry really made me laugh out loud and it’s overall so much fun to read (spare sweater!!!). Thanks for sharing, perfect way to wake up in California! 🫶🙌🙏
I pray you never read the poetry, or you'll lose all appreciation for me, haha. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and leave such a nice comment!!

Help! someone hacked my emails and deleted some stuff from 2010. Those were going to be worth a lot one day…
My Russian hacker friend, Sergei, did me a great solid.
Thanks for brightening up my inbox Alexander, and it's so lovely to hear your voice. It's a great video!
Finding gold when panning is no mean feat. Congratulations! It's fair to say the pothole situation is no better now & could even be worse.
We've all gotta be careful of those pesky potholes! All the more reason to offer sweaters when and where we can.
"#5 - The Best Friendships Have a Pause Button" - YASSSS! This! So true. and I'm so glad my two lifelong BFFs are so understanding. LOL
It's the best type of friendship. 6 months can pass and it only feels like 6 hours. Stoked you've got awesome connections like that in your life :)
EXACTLY!! And there's no judgement.
Cool! And you nailed the multi-media debut! :)
Loved the wall art behind too..
Haha, thank you! I plan to try and add video to my posts more, so it's a good little introduction :)
You’re number 1 is my number 1. Full stop. Your number two is me worried I’ll have an allergic reaction to a tattoo needle 😄
As long as you can laugh at your allergic reaction and chuckle as your throat closes up, you're good!
